PROTEIN CHOC BANANA BREAD (vegan, oil-free, macro-friendly) 🍌 🍞 SAVE this recipe if you love chocolate + banana combo too! ✨⁣

Bananas really are magic in making this loaf super healthy by providing moistness and sweetness 🤩 ⁣

Here is the recipe so you guys can give it a go ➡️⁣

PROTEIN CHOC BANANA BREAD (vegan, oil-free, macro-friendly) ⁣

Makes: 1 loaf (per slice – cal: 180, P: 11g, C: 27g, F: 3.5g)⁣

INGREDIENTS:⁣
Banana Bread:⁣
✅1 1/2 cups self-raising flour⁣
✅1/2 cup vegan chocolate protein powder (I used macr0mike choc hazelnut protein – my discount code is “amb-chen”)⁣
✅ 1/4 cup cocoa powder ⁣
✅ 1/2 cup coconut sugar (can add a bit more if your bananas aren’t ripe)⁣
✅2 large ripe bananas, peeled (~200g peeled weight) + extra banana for topping⁣
✅2 tablespoons peanut butter (I used byronbaypeanutbutter )⁣
✅ 1/2 cup non-dairy milk + a splash more if needed ⁣
*Optional: extra stir ins e.g. choc chips, walnuts⁣

METHOD:⁣
1. Preheat the oven to 175 ℃/ 350℉ and line a baking tin with non-stick paper ⁣
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, protein powder, cocoa powder and sugar. Add the wet mixture to the dry and fold until a thick batter is formed⁣
3. In a blender, blend the bananas, nut butter and milk until pureed⁣
4. Pour this purée into the dry mix and fold until no lumps remain. *Optionsl fold in any stir in ingredients like walnuts, chocolate etc.⁣
5. Transfer the batter into the prepared baking tin. Slice a banana length ways and place it over the top of the batter⁣
6. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean⁣
7. Allow the loaf to cool completely before slicing⁣
*Storage tips: in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days, in the fridge for 5 days or in the freezer for months⁣
