CHAI LATTE PROTEIN DONUTS (vegan, oil-free, macro-friendly) 🍩☕️ Save this if you are a chai lover or tag a friend who would love this! 👋🏼 ⁣

I whipped up these super easy & tasty protein donuts which I have been munching on throughout the week ✨ It’s been a hot minute since I’ve bought you a macro-friendly recipe so I’m super excited to be sharing this! 😍⁣

Here is the recipe ➡️⁣

CHAI LATTE PROTEIN DONUTS (vegan, oil-free, macro-friendly)⁣

Makes: 12 donuts (per donut: 130 cal, P: 10g, C: 14, F: 4g )⁣

INGREDIENTS:⁣

Donuts:⁣
Dry:⁣
✅ 2 cups of self-raising flour⁣
✅ 1/2 cup of granulated sweetener (can sub for brown sugar)⁣
✅ 1/2 cup vegan salted caramel protein powder (I used macr0mike – my discount code is “amb-chen” )⁣
✅ 2 tablespoons instant chai powder (I used chailords )⁣

Wet:⁣
✅ 1 cup non-dairy milk ⁣
✅ 1/4 cup of almond butter ⁣
*Optional: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract ⁣

Frosting:⁣
✅ 1/2 cup macr0mike powdered almond butter + 1/4 cup non-dairy milk ⁣
✅ 2 teaspoon instant chai powder ⁣

*Optional: 2 Lotus biscuits – crushed, for decoration ⁣

METHOD:⁣
1) Preheat the oven to 175℃/ 350 ℉. Spray two donut trays with non-stick spray or use a silicone one like i⁣
2) Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl⁣
3) Whisk together all the wet ingredients⁣
4) Add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well until a thick batter forms⁣
5) Divide the batter evenly amongst the donut holes⁣
6) Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked ⁣
7) Remove donuts from the oven and allow them to cool before decorating⁣
8)Once the donuts have cooled, make the frosting by mixing the ingredients until smooth⁣
9) Dip the donut in the frosting. Optional: sprinkle over the biscuit crumbs ⁣
