7-INGREDIENT CHOC CHAI LOAF CAKE (vegan) 🍫☕️ If you haven’t tried the combo of CHAI + CHOCOLATE, you need to add it to your list! ✨⁣

Chocolate chai latte is one of my favourite fancy orders – there’s just something incredible about the combination of creamy bittersweet chocolate and the warming spices of chai! ☺️⁣

In this creation, I used the new “Happy Chai” blend by t2tea in this recipe! The hero ingredients in this blend are black tea + turmeric, cinnamon & cardamom which work so synergistically with each other ✨⁣

Here is the recipe ➡️⁣

7-INGREDIENT CHOC CHAI LOAF CAKE (vegan) ⁣

INGREDIENTS:⁣
Cake:⁣
✅ 2 cups self-raising flour ⁣
✅ 1 sachet t2tea happy chai powder ⁣
✅ 1/3 cup cocoa powder⁣
✅ 1 1/2 cups non-dairy milk ⁣
✅ 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted ⁣
✅ 1/4 cup non-dairy yoghurt ⁣
✅ 1 cup coconut sugar⁣

Frosting:⁣
✅ 1/2 cup non-dairy yoghurt ⁣
✅ 50g dairy-free chocolate, melted⁣
✅ 1 sachet t2tea happy chai powder ⁣

METHOD: ⁣
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C/ 350 degrees F, fan-forced. Prepare a loaf tin with non-stick paper.⁣
2. In a bowl, mix together the flour and t2Tea chai powder ⁣
3. In a seperate bowl, mix the oil, yoghurt, milk and sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Pour this into the flour/chai mixture and gently fold until no dry flour lumps remain ⁣
4. Transfer the batter to the prepared tin ⁣
5. Bake in the oven for 25-30 mins until a knife inserted comes out clean ⁣
6. Allow the loaf to cool before frosting⁣
7. FROSTING: in a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate, then stir in the yoghurt and chai powder until smooth. Spread the frosting over the loaf. Slice and serve 😙⁣
