5-INGREDIENT CHUNKY MONKEY PROTEIN BARS (vegan, GF, macro-friendly, no-bake) 🍫🐒 Save this EASY protein bar recipe for when you have some ripe bananas! 🍌⁣

These have been such a great treat to have handy in the fridge and snack on! I really hope you try it 😇⁣

Here is the recipe ➡️⁣

5-INGREDIENT CHUNKY MONKEY PROTEIN BARS (vegan, GF, macro-friendly, no-bake)⁣

Makes: 5 large bars (per bar – cal: 264, P: 16g, C: 25g, F: 10g)⁣

INGREDIENTS:⁣
✅ 2 ripe bananas (medium size)⁣
✅ 3/4 cup vegan caramel protein powder (I used macr0mike – my discount code is “amb-chen”)⁣
✅ 2 tablespoons coconut flour ( mine was from thesourcewestendbrisbane )⁣
✅ Handful of walnuts, chopped ⁣

Topping:⁣
✅ 90g dairy-free chocolate ⁣
✅ Handful of walnuts, chopped ⁣

METHOD:⁣
1. Line a loaf tin with non-stick paper⁣
2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas very well until puréed ⁣
3. Add in the protein powder and keep using a fork to mash the powder into the bananas until a smooth cookie dough forms⁣
4. Fold through the walnuts ⁣
5. Transfer the mixture into the lined tin ⁣
6. Freeze for 2 hours until firm ⁣
7. Make the topping by melting the chocolate and pouring it over the top of the slice. Quickly sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the top. Return to the freezer for 15 mins for the chocolate to set before slicing.⁣
*Storage tips: in an airtight container in the freezer and let it thaw for a couple minutes before serving ⁣
